What payment methods do you have?
We accept card payment, EFT and cash.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
Yes, you can cancel or change your appointment. Please let us know as soon as you can to reschedule your appointment. Appointments can be altered up to 24 hours before your booking time. Cancellations after this may incur a charge.

Will you take my old fan and box away?
Our installers will leave your box and fan for you to dispose of, however if you would like us to dispose of it for you, we can for an additional cost. Fan disposal is $20 per fan and box disposal is $15 per fan box.

I have a remote with my ceiling fan, is it necessary to use a wall switch?
While a wall switch is convenient, many fans come with a remote control that can be used to operate the fan. If you have a remote will pair your remote with the ceiling fan and mount the remote holder for you.

What if my new ceiling fan is much heavier than my current fan?
If your new ceiling fan is heavier, we may need to install a timber support into your ceiling to support the weight of your new fan. We can install a timber support in the roof for you, we will talk to you about any extra charges for this before proceeding.

I have high ceilings can my fan still be installed?
Yes, we can install your fan if you have high ceilings (above 3m) but we may need different equipment. Please use the ‘get in touch’ enquiry box on our website or email us at admin@faninstall.com.au with some photos of your job.
 

I have low ceilings; can my fan be installed?

The standard installation height for ceiling fans is at least 2.1m from the floor to the blades of the fan, and at least 300mm from the ceiling. The average heigh of the ceiling is 2.7m, if you have low ceilings you might like to look for a low-profile ceiling fan.

I have sloped ceilings, can you still install the fan?
Yes, we can install your fan on a sloped ceiling.

I have ceiling roses; can you still install the fan?
Yes, we can. Please send us a photo of your ceiling before the installation and we will be in touch about additional costs as this is not a standard installation.

Do you install outdoor fans?
Yes, we do. Get in touch via our website or by emailing admin@faninstall.com.au and we will provide you with a quote.

Can you use my existing fan switch or can I provide one that is different to the switch supplied with the fan?
Yes we can.

I’m not sure if I have a timber in place already, can you check this for me?
Yes, we will check this out for you and let you know where the closest timber support is. We can install a new timber support if needed. We will talk to you about any extra charges for this before proceeding.
